For over a decade, Tradewind Properties has served the best interests of all parties involved with real estate transactions. We understand this from all points of view: Real Estate Investment, Home Buyers, Renters and Landlords – we are your advocate in steering your best interests through today’s real estate environment.
We are selective in what properties we choose to manage, and are equally selective throughout the prospective resident screening process. Because of this care, we do our best to make each match beneficial for both parties involved.

Jessica Composto
We call her partner, friend, boss, and mentor. You may call her Jessica.
Jessica is the company’s licenced Real Estate Broker, and owner of Tradewinds. As if that wasn’t enough, she manages all of our daily operations, and sports a litany of knowledge of the commercial and multi-family real estate sales. She now specializes in the Residential Market.
Previously in her career she worked as an executive assistant for Nationwide Housing Corporation, where she specialized in multi-family, HOA Management, and Commercial Leasing. Prior to that experience, she counselled buyers and sellers, facilitating their real estate transactions.
In her personal time, Jessica enjoys traveling, working out, reading, and volunteering as a youth softball coach. At home, she surrounds herself with friends, family and her two dogs.

Joseph Balma

Joseph is one of our residential real estate agents representing buyers and sellers across the metro area. He brings energy and experience to this position.
He is experienced in Property Preservation, Sales and Leasing, Negotiation, Leasing Contracts and Multi-Unit management.
Attention to detail and strong customer driven goals show in Joseph's results. He brings experience in building working relationships between property owners and tenants. When not working, you can find Joseph enjoying his free time with family and friends.

Judy serves Tradewind Properties as our Office Manager. Judy joined us in 2007, making her dedication and devotion a very strong statement still. She delivers with high standards at the office and a profound dedication to customer satisfaction.
Challenged with handling many tasks, Judy performs her many duties flawlessly as she supports the other team members and our Broker. You’ll meet her whenever you visit our offices or ring our phone. In her private time, Judy surrounds herself with family, and her friendly dog, Prince.

Alex Smith

Alex works as an Administrative and Leasing Assistant at Tradewind Properties. In this position, Alex advertises and manages our sales and rental properties on multiple websites, works with owners and tenants in relation to our properties. Additionally, he works closely with new tenants to efficiently move them into our properties. You may also find him working closely with city staff to ensure properties are properly licensed.
With nearly a decade of customer service, Alex strives to provide the best possible customer experience for everyone at all levels of the leasing and property management experience. With a degree in Microbiology from the University of MN, Alex brings a dogged skillset of hard work, attention to detail and maximizing processes.
Outside of Tradewind Properties, Alex coaches high school speech and debate and enjoys discovering new craft beers at local breweries

Leasing Assistant
Taylor Bartsch

Taylor works as an Administrative Assistant at Tradewind Properties. Taylor provides the team with office support on leasing and property management tasks along with on going projects. Additionally, she will be involved in scheduling, responding to correspondence and act as a back up for our Front Desk such as answering phones and directing visitors.
With 13 years in customer service and a bachelor’s degree in Ecology, Evolution and Behavior from the University of MN, Taylor brings a unique and desired tool set to the company.
In her down time she enjoys baking, playing soccer, downhill skiing and being with her family.
